Room was cozy, but I found the air conditioning a bit noisy at night. The double room offered good access to Truro with convenient bus stops nearby. The local vibe was super friendly, and I enjoyed mingling with patrons in the charming bar. Facilities were clean and tidy, which made for a pleasant stay. options for food were limited during my arrival at 10 PM on a Monday. The breakfast was also just mini cereals—not quite what I expected. a budget-friendly choice worth considering for its community feel, though it could enhance food offerings.

The facts without the fluff
A cozy stay with friendly, helpful staff. The room was warm and comfy, offering Netflix for entertainment. Located conveniently near a bus stop to Truro, it’s perfect for day trips. Just be mindful of noise from the pub, which may disturb light sleepers.

Charming bar decorated ambiance enhanced the experience.
My stay at The Kings Head Hotel was far from enjoyable. The room I was given had a musty smell, and the cleanliness left much to be desired. The lack of basic amenities, such as free Wi-Fi and functional lighting, made my visit frustrating and disappointing.

the room was noisy from the pub below, and the bathroom fans were louder than expected. also, the cleanliness could’ve been better.

I had a lovely stay with super clean and tidy facilities, and it was great to relax with some Netflix while sipping tea. There are cozy spots to unwind and a charming bar to mingle with locals. The only hiccup was a slightly cramped shower, but it didn’t ruin the good vibes! 😊

Family with kids beware
The full English breakfast was a highlight! ! So satisfying to start the day with a meal like that. Plus, the free wifi was a godsend for the kids to play their games!
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but it was still tolerable.
